The Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition 2024 (VILOG 2024) is set to focus on sustainable logistics development. The event is scheduled to take place from August 1-3, 2024, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) – 799 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

At the introduction seminar for VILOG 2024 held in Hanoi on the afternoon of May 14, Mr. Dao Trong Khoa, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA), emphasized that without promptly implementing criteria to “green” the logistics sector, businesses would face significant challenges in the future, gradually being “eliminated” from domestic and global trade and export-import activities.

In this context, VILOG 2024 acts as a platform for logistics companies to showcase advanced technical solutions, technologies, and strategies prioritizing sustainability and fostering green transformation across the industry. From integrating renewable energy and efficient transportation systems to emission-reducing initiatives and supply chain management strategies aimed at environmental protection, the exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of the latest advancements in green logistics.

Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Deputy Director of the Import and Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), stated:
“VILOG 2024 marks a significant milestone, bringing together logistics industry players to chart a path toward a more sustainable future. By highlighting the importance of green logistics as a foundation for sustainable development, we aim to inspire meaningful dialogues, create valuable connections, and accelerate the implementation of environmentally responsible changes.”

In 2023, the first iteration of the exhibition saw tremendous success, with nearly 25,000 visitors and vibrant high-quality transactions over three days. The event marked a significant step in Vietnam’s logistics sector’s journey toward international integration.

According to the organizers, building on the achievements of VILOG 2023, VILOG 2024 promises to be even more impressive, with 480 booths from 350 companies and a display area of up to 9,000 square meters.

At VILOG 2024, enterprises will showcase “green logistics” solutions across five key areas: transportation & delivery, smart warehouse technology, cold chain, IT, and aviation. The exhibition will serve as a hub for startups and established corporations to present game-changing solutions.

As of now, VILOG 2024 proudly announces its main sponsor, SeaRates by DP World (UAE), alongside four co-sponsors: JGL Worldwide (Singapore), ITL (Vietnam), Long An International Port (Vietnam), and DHL Group (DHL Supply Chain Vietnam and DHL Freight Forwarding Vietnam). These leading global and Vietnamese logistics companies bring a wealth of expertise and resources, enriching the experience for all attendees.

A series of specialized workshops and seminars will be an integral part of VILOG 2024, offering opportunities to delve deeper into the ever-evolving logistics industry.

Key Workshops at VILOG 2024:

  1. “Vietnam Customs Digital Transformation: Driving Logistics Development and Trade Facilitation” – Organized by Customs News and the Vietnam Logistics Business Association’s Customs Committee on August 1, this workshop will explore the multifaceted impact of digital transformation in customs.
